Rally of Games Reveal

Today we have a exciting revelation for you about Rally of Games!

Ludo Badge

Our first fundraising badge is a Ludo badge that is actually playable. If you have ever moments of bordem on a camp or a rally while sat waiting for something, well this is the solution. There are two options, just the badge on its own or a badge with pins to work as pieces and dice.

This badge is being sold as fundraising for Rally of Games and will cost £2.50. Additionally, you can buy the dice and coloured pins to play the badge for an extra £1.50 subject to interest.

This is a pre-order for the badges, which will be available for collection at Rali Cymru (or posted out for an extra £1). To ensure that this is successful as a fundraising exercise, we will require a minimum number of orders to have been placed to go ahead. In the unlikely event that the minimum number of orders is not met, you will be able to choose to either receive a refund or to transfer your money over to your Rally of Games booking.

Previous Reveals

Patrol Games

We are going to have a lot of games going on from low stakes, nostalgic games you will remember from Brownies and Cubs to more competitive things like the Sunday morning sports day! Some of the shorter games (lemon jousting, chocolate games and other things along those lines) will be running on Friday evening when you get there and Sunday morning.

Saturday evening will have games in large groups using the outdoor space at Overstone to run games like capture the flag. For all of these you can register your interest closer to the time and win points for your patrol before the closing ceremony.

Board Game Cafe

Today we bring news of a Rally of Games exclusive, our Board Game Cafe which will be stocked full of SSAGO's favourite games and open all weekend. If you want to escape from the chaos of activities and have a quiet hour building a rail road across a continent or want a quick round of avoiding kitten bombs before dinner, it will be open!

It is intended as a quiet space away from the loudness and business of rally without having to stop activities all together by going back to your tent. It allows you to recharge before returning to it all but still catch up with your SSAGO friends around the country.

You can feel free to bring your own board games if you have a specific game in mind and don't want to worry about it being used or not there, but we will also provide plenty of board games.
